About me

My Background

I grew up in Langley, BC, Canada and sports have always been a big part of my life. I started focusing on Track & Field during the last two years of high school and was fortunate to get a full scholarship to the University of Wisconsin. I went on to become the NCAA Champion in 2018, and signed a professional contract with Under Armour the year after graduating from UW-Madison. While Track has always been a huge part of my life, it has never defined me. This website expands on my love for the sport, and draws on the many other passions I have!

My Support Team

I could never be where I am without an amazing team behind me. This began with two inspiring coaches when I was in high school. They taught me to be fearless and driven. My parents and siblings always encouraged me to be whatever I wanted to be, but to never give up. My agent, Rob Mackay, has been a huge guiding light in this experience and my partnership with Under Armour has given me the confidence I need to take the next step in my career. Not only do they provide the knowledge and science behind what I do, but they care about me as a person, and as an athlete. It's nice to know that whatever my next step in life will be, I will always have support.

My Winning Philosophy

Balance is the most important thing to me. Not just in sport, but in life. My mental health, physical health, nutrition, and social life have to be closely aligned for me to feel like I am progressing. It's kind of like the Heptathlon. You want each category to be as even as possible in order to improve.
